Caroline Seeley
Mrs. Caroline Seeley's funeral was held in the M. E. church one week ago last
Thursday. Rev. Futcher, her pastor, conducted the
services, assisted by Rev. A Wilcox, of Cleveland and Rev. Darey.
Mrs Seeley was sick a long time but bore her
suffering with patient fortitude, knowing in whom she trusted. The remains of
both were placed in the vault. Mrs. Caroline Seelye
was born in Bath, Summit
County, in 1841, and died January 29, 1895, at her home in Hinckley,
aged fifty-three years, seven months and twenty-eight days. She united with the
M. E. church in Hinckley in 1886, afterwards uniting
with the Disciple in 1890 of which she has been a faithful member. She bore her
last illness with Christian fortitude and patience. She signified her perfect
willingness to leave this world, commended her husband and children to the care
of God and counseled them to meet her in heaven. She leaves a large circle of
friends to mourn her loss.
